Federal, state, and local monitoring agencies collect vast amounts
of air pollution data annually. The LADCO data analysis
team is engaged in mining this data for evidence of trends, for
spatial and temporal patterns, for clues about particle formation
and transport, and for interactions between pollutants and meteorological
conditions. Several special monitoring projects have
been inititated to supplement the routine data networks.
