The objective of this project was to update ozone precusor emissions reduction options for the states in the LADCO region. The project built off work completed for LADCO by Ramboll in 2021-22. LADCO updated the Ramboll analysis with inventory data from the US EPA 2022v1 Emissions Modeling Platform.
As with the Ramboll study, this project resulted in a priority list of potential emissions reduction options, in terms of costs/ton and total NOx or VOC emissions mass, for all anthropogenic sources of NOx and VOC in the 2022v1 U.S. emission inventory.
The results in these reports are based on estimates of the emissions and available controls, and not all controls in place may have been accounted for in this review.
