Course Description
This one-day course provides an overview of polyester resin and fiberglass manufacturing operations and the associated air pollution considerations. Participants will learn about the raw materials used in polyester resin and fiberglass production, manufacturing processes, emission sources, and methods used to control air emissions.
The course also addresses facility inspection procedures, pollution prevention practices, applicable legal and regulatory requirements, and the application of Reasonably Available Control Technology (RACT) and Best Available Control Technology (BACT).
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
